Marcus Dewberry / Saint Leo University / Guard / Jr. / Lake Wales, Fla.
Dewberry earns his second SSC Player of the Week award after averaging 24 points while shooting .563 from the field in a pair of SSC wins last week. He scored 14 points in a contest against Rollins, on 5-of-11 shooting, four of his five field goals were from three-point range. Dewberry’s layup at the buzzer lifted the Lions to a, 77-75, win over the Tars. Earlier in the week, Dewberry netted a career-high 34 points in Saint Leo’s, 99-94, road win over Florida Tech. He went 13-of-21 from the floor with five three-pointers. He also had a back-to-back traditional three-point play and then a layup with approximately three minutes left in the contest, turning the Lions’ one-possession lead into a six-point advantage. For the week, Dewberry was 9-of-17 from beyond the arc, and added nine rebounds with five assists and two steals. Saint Leo is now 10-6 overall, 4-2 in SSC play.
EJ Moody / Eckerd / Guard / Sr. / Lakeland, Fla.
Moody's defense at the point guard position earns him SSC weekly honors. On the back of Moody, Eckerd held opponents to an average of 65 points per game this past week. Moody's top performance came on Saturday in a, 84-70, victory at Florida Southern. He grabbed three steals and four defensive rebounds as the Tritons held the Moccasins to 21 points below their season average. Eckerd sits a top the SSC standings at 6-0. They own a 14-game winning streak which is the longest active streak in NCAA Division II.

Women's Basketball
Kayla Wright / Nova Southeastern University / Forward / Jr. / Lauderhill, Fla.
Wright is awarded Player of the Week for a second time this season after a dominant scoring performance for Nova Southeastern. Wright scored 26 of her team's 64 points in a one-point win at Eckerd last Wednesday. In 19 minutes played, she was 11-of-13 from the field setting a new personal single-game best. She also added four rebounds, three on the offensive end. The performance was Wright's third game with 25 or more points this season. NSU is first in SSC play at 5-0. The Sharks are 13-1 overall.
Blassage takes SSC Defensive Player of the Week after helping Florida Southern pick up two wins this past week. She opened the week by recording a career-high 12 rebounds and also had 11 points against Embry-Riddle for her first-ever double-double. She then had nine points and five boards to help the Moccasins to a 73-65 win at home against Eckerd. Blassage helped the FSC defense forced 20.5 turnovers for the week and out rebound foes by a +3.5 margin. Florida Southern is 14-1 overall, 5-1 in SSC play.
Swimming
Thiago Sickert / Nova Southeatern University / Jr. / Vila Velha, Brazil
Sickert won all six races he swam this past week, achieving a NCAA B standard time in each. Against Limestone, Sickert swam a NCAA B standard time of 20.55 to take the win in the men's 50 Freestyle. He followed that with a win in the men's 100 Freestyle, swimming a NCAA B standard time of 45.03. On Saturday against Florida Southern, Sickert opened the meet with a win in the 400 Medley Relay, swimming a NCAA B standard time of 3:19.32. Sickert then won the 200 Butterfly, swimming a NCAA B standard time of 1:50.05. In the 100 Freestyle, Sickert swam a NCAA B standard time of 45.89. He ended his week with a win in the men's 100 Butterfly, swimming a NCAA B-Standard time of 49.14.
Emma Wahlstrom / Nova Southeastern University / Jr. / Stockholm, Sweden
Against Limestone, Wahlstrom continued her winning ways, swimming a NCAA B standard time of 1:51.76 in the women's 200 Freestyle, fast enough for a first-place finish. Wahlstrom then swam a NCAA B standard time of 5:03.59 in the 500 Freestyle to close her meet against Limestone. Against Florida Southern, Wahlstrom was a part of the women's 400 Medley Relay team that swam a victorious time of 3:54.31. Wahlstrom then won the 100 and 200 Feestyle races with times of 52.42 and 1:52.94 (NCAA B standard). She closed her week with a second-place finish in the women's 200-yard freestyle relay, swimming a time of 1:37.54.
