Women) - Florida Southern men's and Tampa women's teams claimed the 2025 SSC Cross Country Championships. The 2025 championships were hosted by the University of Tampa at Holloway Park in Lakeland on Saturday, October 25.

2025 Men's Cross Country Championship Recap
Florida Southern finished with 31 team points to capture the program's 20th SSC championship and third title in a row. The Mocs finished with all five runners in the Top-11, including the individual champion.. Embry-Riddle finished second with 60 points, putting two runners in the Top 3. Palm Beach Atlantic finished third with 68 points, with four runners in the Top 13.

FSC's Christian Giller repeats as SSC Cross Country Individual Champion after completing the 8,000-meter race in 24:27.6, nearly 17 seconds faster than his 2024 time at Holloway Park. Giller finished bested the field by nine seconds to earn FSC's 17th individual title. Embry-Riddle’s Nick Scarangelli finished second with a time of 24:36.6, followed by teammate and top freshman finisher Taye Newman.

2025 Women's Cross Country Championship Recap
Tampa posted a score of 29 to claim the program's 18th SSC Women's Cross Country title. The Spartans put all five runners in the Top 12, including the runner up. Palm Beach Atlantic finished second with 41 points, following three Sailfish posting Top 5 results. Nova Southeastern took third with 57 points. The Sharks claimed the individual championship and had four runners in the Top-16.

Jillian Thorning repeats as SSC Champion by finishing the 6,000-meter course in 21:15.8, besting her 2024 time at Holloway Park by nearly 30 seconds. Thorning’s win brings NSU its fourth SSC Women's Cross Country Individual Championship. Tampa’s Lindsey Volkman finished secong in 21:37.0, moving up from a third place finish last year. Palm Beach Atlantic’s Beth Sykes takes third place following a 21:44.4 time.
