RESULTS: 2022 Men's & Women's NCAA Cross Country South Regionals
Three teams and one individual will represent the SSC at the Division II National Championships

LAKELAND, Fla. - The Embry-Riddle men’s cross country team, the Palm Beach Atlantic women's cross country team, the Tampa women’s cross country team, and Nova Southeastern’s Kamila Soja will represent the Sunshine State Conference at the 2022 NCAA Division II Cross Country National Championships. The National Championship race will be held in Seattle, Washington on December 2 as part of the NCAA Division II Fall Festival.
MEN'S RACE - Full Results
Embry-Riddle earned an automatic qualification into the NCAA Division II National Championship after finishing third at the regional championship. They will be joined at nationals by regional champion Lee University and second-place finisher Mississippi College.
The top finisher for the SSC was Paul Kraemer who finished the 10,000-meter course in 31:01.0. Arthur Cosson finished 10th overall with a time of 31:11.0. The two automatic individual qualifications for nationals went to Alabama-Huntsville’s Sam Wilhelm and Montevallo’s Joseph Leventry.

WOMEN'S RACE - Full Results
SSC-champion Palm Beach Atlantic finished second overall, scoring just 84 team points. They finished five points ahead of Tampa. Both teams will advance to nationals along with regional champion Lee University.
Nova Southeastern’s Kamila Soja was the first SSC runner across the finish line, finishing the 6,000-meter course in 21:39.1. Her third-place finish qualified her for nationals. Palm Beach Atlantic’s Madelyn Rodriguez (5th) and Laura Georgelin (9th), Saint Leo’s Holly Little (6th), and Tampa’s Hannah Capel (7th) all finished in the top 10. Each of these runners automatically qualified for nationals as part of a team except Little, who will have to wait to see if she qualifies as an at-large selection.
