RESULTS: 2019 Men's & Women's NCAA Cross Country South Regionals

Three teams and one individual will represent the SSC at the Division II National Championships

LAKELAND, Fla. - Three teams and one individual will represent the Sunshine State Conference at the NCAA Division II Cross Country National Championships. Saint Leo University men and women, along with the University of Tampa women and Florida Southern College's Mason Jones, will compete on November 23rd in Sacramento, California.

MEN'S RACE - Full Results

Saint Leo qualified for the NCAA Division II National Championship a third-place finish behind the University of Alabama - Huntsville and Lee University. All three squads will race in the national meet on November 23rd at Haggin Oaks Golf Complex in Sacramento.

Mason Jones of Florida Southern College was the top conference runner at this year's regional. Jones' third-pace finish qualified him for the NCAA Championship. He will be joined at nationals by fellow individuals Mathew Chesum of Benedict College and Jakob Bernal of the University of West Alabama.

WOMEN'S RACE - Full Results

Tampa paced all SSC squads at the 2019 South Regional, with Saint Leo following in third place. The Spartans and Lions, along with regional champ Lee University will compete at the national championship in Sacramento on November 23rd at Haggin Oaks Golf Complex.

Zoe Jarvis of Tampa, the SSC Runner of the Year, was the top conference finisher at this year's event. Jarvis (fourth place) was one of four SSC runners to finish in the Top-10. Qualifying for the NCAA Championship as individuals were the top three runners not on a qualifying team - Justine Glass and Taylor Gonzales of the University of Montevallo and Stellah Kiptui of Benedict College.
