Osprey Point Golf Course has received numerous awards since its opening in 2010 and is one of the top public golf courses in Florida. The course provides a serene setting with a Platinum Paspalum turf and features 27 holes spread out in three nine-hole courses.

NCAA Division II Championship Records: Men & Women

Women's Regional Tournament: May 7th - 10th at Germantown Country Club in Germantown, Tennessee.

NCAA Women's Tournament: May 16th - 20th at Bay Oaks Country Club in Houston, Texas.

Recent SSC Golf History

The SSC has dominated the national competition in women's golf by winning 17 of the last 18 NCAA National Championships since Division II began its own championship event in 2000. From 1996-99, Division II and III competed in a combined championship. In 13 of the last 18 championships, SSC teams also finished runners-up. Lynn won back-to-back titles in 2013 and 2014. Last year, Rollins took home the National Championship. Nova Southeastern won four-straight from 2009-12. Rollins won five national titles in the time span, including four-straight from 2003-06, and Florida Southern claimed three-straight from 2000-02 and one in 2007.   • - It is the sixth-straight year for teams to play a 54-hole SSC tournament broken down into three days of 18 holes each... 2018 marks the 20th women's tournament for the conference.
  • - Michelle Ruiz [Nova Southeastern] and Tilda Larsson [Barry] look to join 24 other women who have finished Top-5 in the SSC championship two or more times and a list of 23 golfers that have finished Top-10 three or more times.
  • - Including Ruiz and Larsson, seven of the Top-10 finishers from 2017 return for the 2018 championship: A. Williams [Florida Southern], K. Ortiz [Lynn], A. Foigel [Nova Southeastern], A. Jakobson [Saint Leo], and P. Ortiz [Florida Tech]. All seven golfers also finished Top-17 at the 2016 championship.
  • - Nova Southeastern claimed the 2017 championship. The title is the fifth for the sharks, first since 2012.
  • - Nicole Ferre's [Barry] one-under during the 2015 championship at RedTail stands as the only under-par score in SSC championship history. Marie Coors [Saint Leo] owns the best single round in SSC tournament history. She shot a -6 at Lake Jovita during the 2014 event.
  • - Four of the Top-5 best team three-round tournament scores in SSC history were reached in the 2017 championship played at Country Club of Winter Haven, led by Nova Southeastern with a 24-over.
  • - The top single-round score for a team in the tournament was Barry's 286 (-2) at RedTail in 2015. It is the only under-par round by a team in tournament history.
