Nestled in the heart of Pinellas County, The Bayou Club was established in 1991. The centerpiece of the Club is the award-winning Tom Fazio Signature Golf Course, considered one of the best golf courses in Pinellas County, renowned for its outstanding course layout and CHAMPION Dwarf Bermudagrass greens ~ the same putting surface found on 12 PGA Tour venues including Pinehurst No. 2.

About
Eckerd College will host the men's championship at the Bayou Country Club in Largo, Florida. The tournament returns to a two-day format, with 36 holes played on Day 1 and 18 played on Day 2. Dates for the competition are Monday, April 19th - Tuesday, April 20th. It marks the first time an SSC tournament has been played at Bayou.

- This year, the tournament returns to 54-holes across two days for the first time since 2012
- 2021 marks the 39th men's tournament for the conference

- Barry looks to be the first school to repeat as SSC champs since Lynn in 2015-16. The Buccaneers also look to have back-to-back individual champions (Niclas Weiland). They would be the first school since Nova Southeastern's back-to-back winners in 2012-13 (Ben Taylor & Ricardo Celia)
- The individual record for a three-round tournament is 12-under achieved by Kyle Brey, Barry (2017 - Duran), and Steve Paramore, Florida Southern (2003 - Rio Pinar)
- The individual record for a single round is 7-under. Four golfers have reached the mark, most recently by current Lynn student-Athlete Agustin Errazuriz (2019 - Lake Jovita)

SSC Men's National Championship Quick Facts...
- Men's golf teams have won 25 national championships. The most of any sport sponsored by the SSC
- Lynn captured its second consecutive and overall title in 2019
- Florida Southern's Michael VanDerLaan won the 2019 individual title. He's the 14th golfer from the SSC to win it all. He followed his brother John who won the title for FSC in 2018
- SSC schools have won the last eight NCAA titles; an SSC school was also runner-up four times during that span
- Florida Southern won the 2017 title, its first since 2010 and 13th overall
- FSC's 13 national titles are the most by any conference team in any sport.
- Saint Leo captured the championship in 2016. It was the first national title in any sport in Saint Leo history
- Tampa's Jeff Leonard became the first 2-time individual national champion (1987 & 88). FSC's Tim Crouch became the fourth and latest (2013 & 14)
