All-SSC History: SSC Players and Coaches of the Year | All-SSC Teams

Graziani is a 5-8 guard from Nova Southeastern. He’s averaged 19.9 points, 6.5 assists, and 3.3 rebounds per game. He shot 47 percent from the field, shooting 33 percent from three and 77 percent from the free throw line. He led the conference in steals per game (2.3) and assists per game. Graziani becomes just the second men’s basketball player in league history to win Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year in the same season. He is the fourth player from NSU to earn Player of the Year and the second Shark to be named Defensive Player of the Year.

NSU’s head coach Jim Crutchfield was recognized as the league’s Coach of the Year for the fifth time. He led the Sharks to their fifth consecutive regular season title with a 19-1 mark in league play. The Sharks currently boast a 29-1 overall record and sit as the No. 1 ranked team in the country. NSU leads the league with a potent offense, averaging 101.8 points per game. Their average margin of victory is 24.5 with a league-leading 50 percent field goal percentage as a team.

Harpring is a 6-3 guard from Florida Tech. He becomes the ninth Panther to earn SSC Freshman of the Year. He averaged 11.7 points and 2.4 rebounds per game. He shot 46 percent from the field, including 42 percent from 3-point range. He posted a season-high 25 points in a game at Lynn on Jan. 7.

All-conference selections and individual award winners are determined by a vote of Sunshine State Conference head coaches with oversight and approval from member institution Athletic Directors.
