MELBOURNE, Fla. - Four Sunshine State Conference women's tennis players were named Academic All-Americans by College Sports Communicators (CSC). The four athletes were Olivia Bryant of Florida Southern College, Kristyna Hranacova of Nova Southeastern University, Jessica Christa Wira Hadipernomo of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, and Salma Djoubri of Lynn University.
With Bryant, Hranacova, and Hadipernomo all named to the First Team, SSC athletes make up half of the First Team selections. Bryant is a graduate student with a 3.78 GPA as a communication: interpersonal and organizational major, Hranacova is a sophomore with a 3.95 GPA as a management major, and Hadipernomo has a perfect undergraduate and graduate GPA. She is pursuing a graduate degree in data science.
The sole repeat honoree for the SSC is Djoubri. The junior earns a spot on the Second Team for the second consecutive season. She has a 3.51 GPA as a sports management major.
Athletes must be a starter or important reserve with at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average to be eligible for consideration as an Academic All-American.
