2025 Rowing Recap: Embry-Riddle Captures Fourth Consecutive SSC Women's Rowing Championship
SARASOTA, Fla. – (Championship Central) - Embry-Riddle claimed its fourth consecutive Sunshine State Conference Women's Rowing Championship on Friday, April 25th, at Nathan Benderson Park. This year marked the 12th straight season the SSC championship was held at the Sarasota venue, with Embry-Riddle hosting the 2025 event.
The Eagles earned victories in both the Varsity Four (V4) and Varsity Eight (V8) races to secure the overall team title with 25 total points.

In the V4 final, Embry-Riddle posted a winning time of 7:40.6
, finishing 5.5 seconds ahead of Tampa (7:46.1). Rollins placed third (8:13.5), followed by Nova Southeastern (8:36.3) and Barry (9:00.9).
Embry-Riddle also led the V8 final, crossing the line in 6:54.4
. Rollins took second (7:10.9), followed by Barry (7:17.9), Nova Southeastern (7:19.7), and Tampa (7:43.0).
