ALL-SSC Women's Basketball Selections for 2024-25

Seventeen WBB student-athletes recognized as All-SSC in 2024-25

MELBOURNE, Fla. - The Sunshine State Conference recognizes seventeen women's basketball student-athletes as All-SSC in 2024-25. Embry-Riddle's Madyson Jean-Louis garners Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year accolades. Barry's Kaliyah Morales is named Freshman of the Year, and ERAU's Lisa Wilson takes Coach of the Year honors.

Jean-Louis, a 5-7 senior guard, is tabbed Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year by league coaches. The Grand Prairie, Texas product averaged 16.9 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 1.0 steals in her 33.9 minutes per game across 27 contests. Jean-Louis finished the regular season second in SSC three-point field goal percentage (.457), fourth in points per game (16.9), and sixth in field-goal percentage (.482). She is the first Embry-Riddle athlete to win Player of the Year or Defensive Player of the Year in basketball. Jean-Louis is the fourth SSC women's basketball player to win both awards in their career1.

Morales, a 5-9 guard from Barry, is awarded SSC Freshman of the Year by conference coaches. The Miamian played in 28 games for the Buccaneers this season, starting 24 times. Morales averaged 11.2 points, 3.1 assists, 2.5 rebounds, and 2.0 steals in his 25.1 minutes per game. She is the fourth Barry athlete to be named Freshman of the Year in women's basketball, the first since 2022-232.

Lisa Wilson becomes the first ERAU skipper named SSC Coach of the Year. The 2024-25 Eagles squad captured the school's first conference title following a 17-3 record in league play. ERAU was solid on both sides of the court, recording an +8.9 scoring margin and +7.0 rebounding margin during the regular season. ERAU also reached as high as No. 9 in the WBCA national poll this season.

Jean-Louis highlights the repeat All-SSC winners following her second consecutive First Team and All-Defensive Team awards. Tampa's Zoe Piller and Barry's Audrey Jennings move to the First Team following Second Team nods in 2023-24. Nova Southeastern's Aubrey Stupp also makes the jump to First Team after Third Team accolades last season. Kash Ayuso of Palm Beach Atlantic repeats as a Second Team performer from last season, while Third Team honoree Audrey Ramsey of Tampa earns a third consecutive All-SSC selection.

All-conference selections and individual award winners are determined by a vote of Sunshine State Conference head coaches with oversight and approval from member institution Athletic Directors.
