LAKELAND, Fla. - Palm Beach Atlantic's Colten Lee, Nova Southeastern's Jillian Thorning, Christian Giller, Palm Beach Atlantic women's cross country team, Tampa women's cross country, Florida Southern men's cross country, and Embry-Riddle men's cross country will represent the Sunshine State Conference at the 2025 NCAA Division II Cross Country National Championships. The National Championship race will be held at Wayne E. Dannehl National Country Course in Kenosha, Wisconsin, on Saturday, November 22.
MEN'S RACE - Full Results
Lee paced all runners at the regional, winning the 10,000-meter race in a time of 31:22.34. Lee qualifies for the National Championship as the top athlete not on a qualifying team. Florida Southern was the best-placing SSC team, finishing second behind Lee with 53 points. Joining FSC at the national meet will be Embry-Riddle, who finished third with 110 points. Rounding out the SSC finishers are Palm Beach Atlantic (5th), Tampa (6th), Florida Tech (11th), Saint Leo (16th), and Barry (18th). Teams and individuals finishing outside the Top 3 wait to see if they are chosen as at-large bids.

WOMEN'S RACE - Full Results
Palm Beach Atlantic claims the South Region championship and qualifies for the National Championship. After finishing as the runner-up at the SSC Championship, PBA edged Lee 76 to 77 for the win. They were followed by SSC champion Tampa, who finished third with 87 points and also qualified for the national meet. Rounding out the SSC finishers are Nova Southeastern (6th), Embry-Riddle (8th), Florida Southern (9th), Barry (15th), Saint Leo (18th), Eckerd (19th), and Lynn (20th). Two-time SSC champion Jillian Thorning of Nova Southeastern was the top-finishing SSC runner, taking fifth in the 6,000-meter race with a time of 21:14.65. Thorning earns passage to the 2025 national meet with her second consecutive Top-5 South Regional performance. Teams and individuals finishing outside the Top 3 wait to see if they are chosen as at-large bids.
