INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - [REGIONAL BRACKETS] - On Mother's Day, Sunday, May 12, the NCAA announced that Tampa, Saint Leo, and Embry-Riddle will compete in the 2024 NCAA Division II South Region Tournament. Tampa is the South Region #1 host, and Saint Leo will host a South Region #2 bracket that includes ERAU.

Tampa (43-7, 24-4) enters as the No. 1 team in the country according to multiple polls. The Spartans are coming off the program's fourth consecutive and 23rd overall conference championship. Tampa will host South Regional #1 which includes their first-round opponent in #8 seed Savannah State (29-15), along with #4 Lee (37-16) and #5 Auburn - Montgomery (31-22). Play begins on Thursday, May 16 at 3:30 PM.
Saint Leo (38-11, 21-9) earns the #2 seed in the region and will host South Regional #2. The Lions will first match up against #7 seed West Florida (32-21) on Thursday, May 16, at 2:00 PM. Embry-Riddle (31-19, 17-13) grabs the #3 seed and will square off against #6 Delta State (32-22) directly following the SLU / UWF contest.
The regionals will play as double elimination tournaments from May 16-19. The winners of each region will advance to a best-of-three super-regional competition May 24-26. The 2024 Finals will be held Saturday, June 1st - Saturday, June 8 at the USA Baseball National Training Complex in Cary, North Carolina.
