MELBOURNE, Fla. - The Sunshine State Conference recognizes thirty-three women's soccer student-athletes as All-Conference for the 2024 season. Florida Tech, the SSC Regular Season Champion, boasts 13 award winners, including Offensive Player of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year, Goalkeeper of the Year, and Coach of the Year. Voting for the awards is conducted among the league's women's soccer coaches.
Marta Llopis, a junior midfielder from Florida Tech, is honored as Offensive Player of the Year by league coaches. The Barcelona, Spain native led the league in points (27), points per game (1.67), goals (11), and game-winning goals (7). In SSC play, she found the back of the net seven times in 10 games, scoring four game-winners and providing her team with five assists. Llopis is the second consecutive, third overall Panther to win SSC Offensive Player of the Year

Florida Tech's Daniela Tobon receives the Defensive Player of the Year nod. The Weston, Florida midfielder played over 1400 minutes for a Panthers defense that registered seven shutouts and held opponents to SSC-leading numbers in goals allowed (12) and goals allowed per game (0.75). Tobon becomes the first Florida Tech women's soccer athlete to earn Defensive Player of the Year honors.
Kaitlin Sinkler brings Florida Tech Goalkeeper of the Year laurels for a second consecutive season. The Decatur, Georgia senior led the SSC in goals against average at .645. She allowed just 10 scores in her 16 games and nearly 1400 minutes in net for the Panthers. Sinkler joins former Panther Ayana Aoyagi (2023) as the only athletes to win Goalkeeper of the Year.
Coaches recognize Alexa Bereczki from Nova Southeastern as Freshman of the Year. The forward from Fort Myers, Florida, has five goals, including three in conference play, in 14 games played and 997 minutes on the pitch. All five of her goals are game-winners, which places her second overall in the conference. Bereczki is the fourth NSU women's soccer athlete to earn Freshman of the Year honors

Katy Freels is the Coach of the Year after leading Florida Tech to the program's first outright SSC regular-season title, second consecutive, and third overall. The Panthers are leading the SSC in numerous statistical categories, including goals for (33), goals against (12), and scoring margin (1.31). Florida Tech has spent nine weeks in the United Soccer Coaches Poll this season, topping out at No. 12. Freels is the second Panther head coach to be named SSC Coach of the Year
Embry-Riddle's Grace Foyer, Thea Nyberg, and Hattie Kettle highlight the repeat All-Conference selections for 2024. The trio are the only athletes to earn a third career All-SSC honor in 2024. Foyer stands as the only honoree to repeat as First Team from 2023. Overall, 14 athletes repeat as All-SSC during their careers.
