She is the 16th SSC women's golfer to win the individual title

EUREKA, Mo.  – Olivia Grønborg of Nova Southeastern University is the 16th women's golfer in Sunshine State Conference history to win an individual national championship.

She won the NCAA Division II National Championship after shooting -6 over three rounds, defeating Findlay's Gabby Woods and Dallas Baptist's Olivia Mitchell, who finished tied for second, by four strokes.

Grønborg is the first SSC golfer to win the national title since Helen Kreuzer of Lynn University took home the individual crown in 2021. She is the fourth Nova Southeastern golfer to win the title and the first since Abbey Gittings accomplished the feat in 2012.

Grønborg, who is just a Freshman, won the individual title at the Sunshine State Conference Championship earlier this season. She will now look to help the Sharks win the team national title, as they are one of eight teams competing in match play which begins today, May 19.
