69 Swimmers and 33 Relay Teams Qualify for NCAA National Championships

The National Championship will be held March 7-11 in Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - SSC swim teams will send 69 individual swimmers and 33 relay teams to the 2023 NCAA Division II Men's and Women's Championships, it was announced by the NCAA Swimming and Diving committee on Wednesday, February 22nd. The event will be held March 7-11 in Indianapolis.

Forty-five SSC women's swimmers qualified for the national meet in 103 individual events, while 24 men qualified in 53 events. Of the 33 relay teams, 17 are women's teams, and 16 are men's squads.

Florida Southern College, Nova Southeastern University, and the University of Tampa will send the bulk of the swimmers to the national meet at 11, 16, and 27, respectively. Seven athletes enter the NCAA meet as the top overall seeds, including Emily Trieschmann of NSU, who is pre-meet number one in the 500, 1000, and 1650 Free. Additionally, five SSC relay teams head into the event with the top times in the nation.
