MELBOURNE, Fla. - [MSOC Tournament Page] - Barry repeats as SSC regular-season champion after collecting 27 points (9-1-0) in league play. It is the sixth regular-season title for the Buccaneers and the first time the program has won the trophy in back-to-back seasons. As the top seed, the Buccaneers earned a quarterfinal round bye and home-field advantage throughout the tournament. Florida Tech (23 points, 7-1-2) repeats as the No. 2 seed. The Panthers receive a quarterfinal bye and will host a semifinal match.
Rollins (16 points, 5-4-1) collects the No. 3 seed over Lynn (16 points, 4-2-4) thanks to a 2-0 win in Winter Park on October 4th. The Tars will host No. 6 Florida Southern (13 points, 3-3-4) on November 6th. FSC defeated Rollins, 3-0, in Lakeland on October 7th. Since the SSC tournament's reinstatement in 2003, the Tars and Moccasins have only paired up twice. In 2003, #6 FSC outlasted #3 RC in penalty kicks following a 1-1 draw. In 2004, #1 RC bested #8 FSC, 2-0, in the quarterfinals.
Lynn will host No. 5 Nova Southeastern (14 points, 4-4-2) in Boca Raton on November 6th. The Fighting Knights and Sharks tied, 2-2, in Fort Lauderdale during conference play on September 20th. Lynn defeated NSU in Boca Raton, 2-1, during a non-conference game on November 1st. Lynn owns a 3-0-2 advantage over NSU in the SSC Tournament, with both teams advancing once in penalty kicks. The only quarterfinal matchup between the programs was in 2009. They also met in the semifinals in 2007, 2015, and 2019 and in the 2004 championship final.
The SSC semifinals will be on Thursday, November 9th, at Barry and Florida Tech. The highest remaining seed will host the 2023 championship final on Sunday, November 12th. Watch all the games live on the

NCAA Postseason: The winner of the men's tournament will receive automatic qualification to the 2023 NCAA Division II Soccer Championships. The opening round of the NCAA Division II Championship is scheduled for Thursday, November 16th through Sunday, November 19th, at non-predetermined sites. The third round and quarterfinals will be Thursday, November 30th to Sunday, December 3rd. The semifinals and final will be played Thursday, December 7th - Saturday, December 9th, at the Mecklenburg County Sportsplex in Matthews, North Carolina.
