Fan Information

Rollins College will host the women's championship at the Bent Pine Golf Club in Vero Beach, Florida. It marks the first time an SSC tournament has been played at Bent Pine.

A masterpiece designed by Joe Lee, the course is located on 220 acres of prime hammock land, surrounded by Florida pines, citrus groves and ranch land. Accentuated by eight scenic lakes and pristine, manicured fairways that run in every direction, the course features open spaces and a variety of wildlife. The goose-necked par 5, 14th hole, is one of Joe Lee's favorite designed par 5's.

Host to six U. S. Open qualifiers, Bent Pine provides a formidable challenge to even the lowest handicappers, while giving all levels of golfer a fair test from all tees. Well-bunkered "Tif-Eagle" greens are characteristic of the course. Lakes, trees and the occasional challenging wind add the final touches to this treasure.

NCAA Division II Championship Records: Men & Women

Recent SSC Golf History
The SSC has dominated the national competition in women's golf by winning 17 of the last 19 NCAA National Championships since Division II began its own championship event in 2000. From 1996-99, Division II and III competed in a combined championship. In 13 of the last 19 championships, SSC teams also finished runners-up. Lynn won back-to-back titles in 2013 and 2014. Two years ago, Rollins took home the National Championship. Nova Southeastern won four-straight from 2009-12 and are the defending SSC champions. Rollins won five national titles in the time span, including four-straight from 2003-06, and Florida Southern claimed three-straight from 2000-02 and one in 2007. • For the first time in nine year's the tournament returns to a 54-hole event broken down into two days of 36 holes then 18 holes.
• 2021 marks the 22nd women's tournament for the conference....2020 was canceled due to COVID-19.
• Nova Southeastern claimed the 2017 & 2018 championships. It is the first back-to-back run for an SSC team since the Sharks won three-in-a-row from 2010 to 2012
• Only five women have ended the 54-hole tournament under-par: Kiira Riihjarvi, Tampa (-4, 2019), Matilda Wahren, Lynn (-1, 2019), Michelle Ruiz, NSU (-6, 2018), Tilda Larsson, Barry (-1, 2018), Nicole Ferre, Barry (-1, 2015).
• The top three-round tournament team scores in SSC history are: Nova Southeastern with a 17-over in 2018 at Osprey Point, followed by Lynn and Barry with 20-over and 21-over, respectively, in 2019 at Lake Jovita.
• The top single-round score for a team in the tournament was Barry's 286 (-2) at RedTail in 2015 and Nova Southeastern's 286 (-2) at Osprey Point in 2018. They are the only under-par rounds by a team in tournament history.
• UT's Kiira Rhiijarvi looks to become the first repeat SSC champion since 2013.
• Rollins leads the pack with eight SSC titles, followed by NSU with six and FSC with four. Lynn has two titles and Barry won their only championship in 2015.

• SSC women's golf has won 17 of the last 19 NCAA National Championships and 21 overall.
• SSC teams also finished runners-up in 12 of the last 19 championships.
• Barry claimed the 2017 national title. It was the first for the Buccaneers.
• Rollins has won six national titles in the last 17 years, including four-straight from 2003-06.
