SSC Digital Network.
No fans are permitted to attend any games in the 2021 Sunshine State Conference Men's and Women's Basketball Championships. All games will be live-streamed at no cost on the Sunshine State Conference Digital Network. How They Got There:
Seeds for the 2021 tournament were drawn at random. Rollins College received the No. 1 seed and a first-round bye in the postseason tournament. Palm Beach Atlantic University defeated #5 seed Florida Tech, 73-50, for the right to take on the Tars in Winter Park. PBA's Shekinah Guthrie had game-highs in points (18) and rebounds (13) (
Box).
2020-21: PBA defeated Rollins, 64-59, on March 13th in Winter Park. Guthrie recorded a 12-point/12-rebound double-double, while her teammate Avree Carpenter led all scorers with 21 points. Five different Tars had at least seven points and three rounds.

Rollins: 48-30 record - 8x champions - 10x runner up
Palm Beach Atlantic: 1-0 record
Tournament Series: First Meeting
NOTES: RC has not been back to the championship game since completing back-to-back titles in 2013. PBA looks to dish out the first #4 vs. #1 upset in the tourney since Rollins defeated Nova Southeastern in the 2013 Semifinals.

How They Got There:
The University of Tampa needed all 60 minutes to defeat the #6 seed Florida Southern College. The Spartans took their only lead of the game with just 23 ticks on the clock. Terri Battle gave UT a spark off the bench with a 10-point/15-rebound double-double (Box). Saint Leo University came from behind to defeat the #2 seed Barry University, 73-64, in Miami Shores. Amanda Ulrich led all scorers with 16 points (Box).
2020-21: Tampa hosted and defeated Saint Leo, 85-78, on March 10th. UT's LaShayla Wright-Ponder led all players with 26 points and nine rebounds. SLU's Tori Lesco led the Lions with 21 points and nine rebounds.
Tournament History:
Tampa: 38-32 record - 5x champions - 6x runner up
Saint Leo: 9-29 record - 1x runner up
Tournament Series: Tied, 3-3
Last Meeting: #1 UT 72, #4 SLU 57 in the 2020 semifinals.
NOTES: Saint Leo is aiming for the program's first-ever tournament championship. The Lions reached the title game in 2013 as the #7 seed, where they fell to Rollins. The only #7 to defeat a #3 was Barry over Eckerd in the 2015 semifinals. UT last hoisted the trophy in 2016 as the #5 seed, ending a six-year championship drought. Last season #2 Tampa was the victim of the fourth ever #7 vs. #2 upset in tournament history, coming at the hands of Rollins.
