GCAA Names Six SSC Teams as Outstanding Academic Award Winners 2019-20
NORMAN, Okla. - Six Sunshine State Conference men's golf teams have earned the Golf Coaches Association of America's (GCAA) Outstanding Team Academic Award for the 2019-20 season. A total of 43 NCAA Division II men's golf programs earned the accolade this year.
Florida Southern College highlights the SSC honorees by receiving the President's Special Recognition by finishing the academic year with a 3.5 or above team. FSC is one of 14 schools to earn the honor.
Florida Tech, Palm Beach Atlantic University, Rollins College, Saint Leo University, and the University of Tampa recorded team grade point averages of 3.0 or above to be recognized by the GCAA.
