MELBOURNE, Fla. - The Sunshine State Conference is pleased to announce a multi-year agreement naming Jimmy John's as the presenting sponsor of the SSC Men's and Women's Basketball Championships. Jimmy John's, one of America's fastest-growing sandwich franchises, is also sponsoring the league's weekly awards program.

Founded in 1983 by Jimmy John Liautaud and headquartered in Champaign, Illinois, Jimmy John's has built its reputation on serving up fast and fresh sandwiches across the United States. In 35 years, the company has grown to more than 2,800 locations, including 165 restaurants in Florida.

The 2020 SSC Men's and Women's Basketball Championships begin March 3rd at home sites, with semifinals tipping off on March 5th and champions crowned on March 8th. Established in 1975, the Sunshine State Conference has risen from a single sport organization to the NCAA Division II "Conference of National Champions."
