More information on the Championship and SSC Rowing...

Barry accounts for two of the SSC's three National Championships in women's rowing, having won back-to-back titles in 2015 and 2016. Nova Southeastern captured the league's first national title in 2013, where Barry was the National Runner-Up. Nova Southeastern was runner up in 2014 and Barry also came in second in 2006.

There will be three nationally ranked teams competing for the conference championship in 2019. Florida Tech, who is currently ranked No. 2 in the nation, looks to capture their ninth SSC title, after winning last years conference championship. Barry will enter the conference championship at No. 7 nationally, while Nova Southeastern is sitting at No. 8 as of the April 17th poll released by the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association.

This year marks the seventh consecutive SSC Rowing championship at Nathan Benderson Park. The venue was home to the 2014 World Cup Final and 2015 World Cup Final of the Modern Pentathlon. Prior to Nathan Benderson Park, the SSC championship was held at Canal 54 in Fellsmere (2008-2011).

There will be an awards ceremony following at 10 AM to recognize the All-SSC Team, the Varsity 4 and Varsity 8 winners and the 2019 SSC Champions.
