MELBOURNE, Fla. - Rodrigo Fernandez of Lynn University and Cadu Cusatis from Palm Beach Atlantic University are named Men's Soccer All-Americans for 2019. Fernadez grabbed honors from both the United Soccer Coaches (USC) and Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA), while Cusatis was tabbed a USC All-American.
1st Team (USC) / 3rd Team (D2CCA): Rodrigo Fernandez / Defender / Senior / Lynn

Fernandez earns All-America honors from both organizations after leading a Lynn defense that has racked up seven shutouts, including three in the postseason while holding opponents to a 0.89 goals-against average. Fernandez was named First Team All-Region by both the USC and D2CCA. The Mexico City native also earned First Team All-Region accolades from both organizations shortly after becoming the sixth Fighting Knight to win SSC Defensive Player of the Year. Fernandez and the Fighting Knights take on the University of Charleston in the NCAA Division II semifinals on Thursday, December 12th, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
2nd Team (USC): Cadu Cusatis / Forward / Senior / Palm Beach Atlantic

Cusatis more than doubled last year's goal output this season by scoring 13 goals and recording an SSC high 28 points. The Sao Paulo, Brazil native, had a stretch in the heart of conference play where he scored a total of ten goals in eight games and tallied a point in 11 straight games. Over that stretch, the Sailfish defeated three nationally-ranked opponents and defeated the defending national champions. In addition to his All-American honors from the United Soccer Coaches, Cusatis was named SSC Player of the Year and South Region Player of the Year by the D2CCA.
