Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week
Marine Kinna / Lynn University / Jr. / Outside Hitter / Guethary, France
Kinna is awarded Offensive Player of the Week for the second time this season following her role in Lynn's three victories this week. The native of Guethary, France, posted back-to-back double-doubles in 3-1 victories over Nova Southeastern University (15 kills, 12 digs) and No. 25 University of Tampa (21 kills, 19 digs). She capped off her week with 19 kills and six digs in a 3-0 win against Saint Leo University. For the week, the junior hit .257 and averaged 5.00 kills, 4.00 digs, and .55 aces per set. With the play of Kinna, the Fighting Knights have moved into sole possession of first place in the conference standings and tied the program record of 10 consecutive wins.
Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week
Brittany Landrum / Nova Southeastern University / Fr. / Middle Blocker / St. Cloud, Florida
Landrum totaled 17 blocks across three conference games to earn Defensive Player of the Week honors. The Freshman from St. Cloud, Florida, opened the week with two blocks and seven digs in a loss against Lynn University. She went on to record eight blocks in a win against Saint Leo University and then seven blocks in a win over No. 25 University of Tampa. For the Week, Landrum averaged 1.48 blocks per set while adding 14 kills and 11 digs to her stat sheet. She is the first NSU Shark to be named Defensive Player of the Week since November 17, 2016 (Megan Burns).
Volleyball Setter of the Week
Biatriz Souza Berti / Lynn University / Sr. / Setter / São Paulo, Brazil
Souza Berti earns her third consecutive Setter of the Week honor following 12.6 assists per set across three Lynn victories last week. The Brazilian started her week with 44 assists and 54 assists in 3-1 wins over Nova Southeastern University and the No. 25 University of Tampa, respectively. She added 41 more assists to her stat sheet as Lynn swept Saint Leo and pushed its conference winning streak to 10 games. Souza Berti becomes the first athlete to win Setter of the Week three time consecutively since the award was established in 2017.
Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week
James Meehan / Florida Southern College / Jr. / Forward / London, England
Meehan is named Offensive Player of the Week following his performance in FSC's final game of the regular season. With the Mocassins needing a win to qualify for the SSC tournament, Meehan scored two goals in the last 14 minutes during a 2-0 victory over Saint Leo University. The junior from London, England, has now scored five goals in his last three matches.
Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week
Jason Fesquet / Florida Tech / Jr. / Goalkeeper / Brittany, France
Fesquet is awarded Defensive Player of the Week accolades for his performance against No. 2 Lynn University. The Brittany, France native tallied seven saves and kept a clean sheet as Florida Tech handed Lynn its first loss of the season. With the win, the Panthers and secure a first-round bye in the SSC postseason tournament.
Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week
Jessica Bonenclark / Nova Southeastern University / Sr. / Midfielder / Ocala, Florida
Bonenclark stepped off the bench to earn Offensive Player of the Week with her efforts against No. 20 Rollins College. The senior scored twice in the second half in a span of 5:28, as NSU stretched a 1-0 game into a 3-0 margin. It stands as Bonenclark's only multi-goal performance in her career. The win over Rollins locked up the No. 3 seed in the SSC Tournament for the Sharks.
Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week
Casey Winn / Eckerd College / Sr. / Goalkeeper / Fort Myers, Florida
Winn repeats as Defensive Player of the Week following her efforts in Eckerd's 1-1 double-overtime draw against Nova Southeastern University. The Fort Myers, Florida product recorded 11 saves in 110 minutes while facing 12 total shots. Her 11 saves against the Sharks ranks second among single-game save totals in the league this season (where she also owns the first-place performance). The senior now has a total of five weekly awards for her career.
Men's Basketball Player of the Week
Brett Hanson / Florida Southern College / Sr. / Guard / Manchester, New Hampshire
Hanson earns Player of the Week honors after leading Florida Southern to a pair of opening weekend victories. The Manchester, New Hampshire native, scored a game-high 24 points and had five rebounds, five assists, and five steals in a 91-74 victory over Delta State University. He followed with a game-high 26 points and a team-high eight rebounds in a 76-59 win over the University of West Alabama. Hanson scored his 50 points by shooting 54% from the field (21-39), 70% from the free-throw line (7-10), and 20% from behind the arc (1-5). The senior played in 84% (67) of his team's minutes, where he recorded 13 rebounds, 13 assists, nine steals, and a block while turning the ball over three times. The weekly award is the sixth of his career.

Romeo Crouch / Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University / Jr. / Guard / Titusville, Florida
Crouch is named Defensive Player of the Week following ERAU's road wins over the University of West Georgia and Lee University. The Titusville, Florida product registered a game-high four steals and three defensive rebounds during an 85-60 win over West Georgia. In an 81-76 win against Lee, the junior had a game-high seven steals and grabbed three defensive rebounds. Crouch had a team-high 40 points for the week while averaging 5.5 steals, 3.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 0.5 blocks per game.
Women's Basketball Player of the Week
Nichel Tampa / Barry University / Guard / So. / St. Petersburg, Florida
Tampa grabs Player of the Week after her performance against two region opponents last week. The St. Petersburg, Florida native scored a career-high 34 points in a 90-82 double-overtime victory against defending Gulf South Conference champion Union University. The sophomore also had five points, five rebounds, and two assists in a 66-58 loss to Delta State University. Tampa scored her 39 points by shooting 43% from the field (12-38), 72% from the free-throw line (13-18), and 50% from behind the arc (2-4). In her 70 minutes on the court, she recorded 18 rebounds, nine assists, and a steal. The weekly award is the third of her career.
Women's Basketball Defensive Player of the Week
Alani Gallagher / Saint Leo University / Forward / Jr. / Vestal, New York
Gallagher is named Defensive Player of the Week with her performance in a pair of road games. The Vestal, New York native, had a steal, block, and defensive rebound in a 75-55 loss to No. 14 Lee University to open the season. Gallagher followed with three blocks and 11 defensive rebounds in an 86-75 overtime victory against the University of Alabama - Huntsville. Gallagher's four blocks currently place her at the top of the SSC leaderboard. The junior averaged 11.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game for the Lions last week.
Men's Swimmer of the Week
Magnus Poulsen / Nova Southeastern University / Sr. / Albertslund, Denmark
Poulsen is named Swimmer of the Week for the second time this season following his races in NSU's dual meet against the University of Tampa. The Dane led the Sharks to a relay victory in the 200 Medley Relay (1:31.09) and took individual gold in the 100 Fly (48.85) and 200 Fly (1:53.52). His 100 Fly time is an NCAA B qualifying mark and stands as the fourth-best in NCAA Division II this season, while the 200 Fly time places him 21st nationally. The weekly award is the fourth of his career.
Women's Swimmer of the Week
Sasha Maslova / Nova Southeastern University / So. / Moscow, Russia
Maslova takes Swimmer of the Week for the third time this season following NSU's dual meet win against the University of Tampa. The Russian led the Sharks to a relay victory in the 200 Medley Relay (1:44.91) and took gold in the 100 Fly (56.89) and 200 Fly (2:03.32). Her 200 Fly time is an NCAA B qualifying mark and stands as the sixth-best in NCAA Division II this season, while the 100 Fly time places her eighth nationally.
