Tampa and Saint Leo Ranked in Latest Men's Lacrosse Polls

BALTIMORE, Md. - The University of Tampa and Saint Leo University,  represent the Sunshine State Conference in the newest edition of the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) Coaches Poll and Nike/Lacrosse Magazine Poll, and Inside Lacrosse Poll. The polls, released on Tuesday, March 28, have Florida Tech, Rollins College, Florida Southern College, and Lynn University receiving votes.

Tampa (8-3, 1-0) is up one spot to No. 13 in USILA and Inside Lacrosse polls and is up two spots to No. 11 in the Nike/LM poll. This past week, the Spartans defeated RV Rollins 18-11 and also took down No. 19 Colorado Mesa 15-7. Next up for Tampa is Lynn on April 1st.

Saint Leo (8-2, 0-1) falls a few spots to No. 19 in both the USILA and Inside Lacrosse polls while they appear at No. 14 in the Nike/LM poll. The Lions went 1-1 this past week as they fell to RV Florida Southern 15-13 and then defeated Young Harris 20-9. They prepare for a meeting against Rollins on April 1st.
