Nine SSC Baseball Players Selected in 2014 MLB Draft
NEW YORK (Baseball) - With all 40 rounds of the 2014 Major League Baseball Draft in the books, a total of nine Sunshine State Conference players had their names called for the big leagues.
The Tampa Spartans led the SSC contingent with three draftees. Barry and Florida Southern had two student-athletes taken in the draft. Lynn and Saint Leo each had one player selected. Future provisional member Embry-Riddle had two baseball players selected.
