12 SSC Players Selected in MLB Draft
With all 40 rounds of the 2013 Major League Baseball Draft in the books, a dozen SSC players had their names called for the big leagues.
The national champion Tampa Spartans led the SSC contingent with six draftees. Saint Leo had two student-athletes taken in the draft. Barry, Eckerd, Florida Tech, and Nova Southeastern each had one player selected.
