Nick Diyorio – Florida Southern Baseball (2003-06)
Diyorio was the SSC Male Athlete of the Year in 2005 after leading the Moccasins to the NCAA Division II Baseball Championship.  He was FSC’s top hitter that year, batting .403 en route to earning NCBWA honorable mention All-American honors.  Diyorio was a three-time All-SSC honoree, garnering first-team recognition in 2005.  He was a two-time All-South Region selection.  He is the only player in the storied history of Southern baseball to post back-to-back 100-hit seasons.  Diyorio notched 110 hits in 2005 and 102 hits in 2006.  He is the school’s career leader with 309 hits, which also ranks 11th in NCAA DII history.  He once held the Division II record for consecutive game hitting streak, collecting at least one hit in 49 straight games from 2005 to 2006.
