• Led Lynn University into Sunshine State Conference membership in 1997
• Under Dr. Young, Lynn University accumulated the following:
o 117 All-Sunshine State Conference selections
o Four Sunshine State Conference Coach of the Year awards
o Six Sunshine State Conference Player of the Year honorees
o Eight Sunshine State Conference Freshman of the Year selections
o Six Sunshine State Conference Championships
o Eight NAIA National Championships
o Five NCAA Division II National Championships
