Dr. Donald E. Ross – Lynn University, President (1971-2006)
• Created varsity athletics program at Lynn University
• Guiding force behind Lynn’s becoming member of SSC in 1997
• During his tenure, Lynn athletics:
- Won 17 national championships, including six DII and 11 NAIA titles
- Won 18 SSC titles
- Had 276 All-SSC selections and 255 All-American selections
- Had 34 Academic All-America selections
- Received 14 SSC Player of the Year selections, 13 Coach of the Year selections, and two Athlete of the Year honors
