Lucresia West – Florida Southern Women’s Basketball (2001-05)
West is the only player in Florida Southern women’s basketball history to be named WBCA All-American all four years of her career. She was named first-team All-American three times. West was also a four-time All-SSC selection, earning first-team honors three times. She was named SSC Women’s Basketball Player of the Year in 2004 and 2005. The only player in FSC history to surpass 1,000 points and 1,000 rebounds in her career, West holds a number of program career records, including scoring average (19.8), rebounds (1,056), and rebounding average (10.7). She also holds the school’s single-season records for rebounding average (12.0) and field goal percentage (.633). Also appearing in the top ten of a number of conference records, West was named to the SSC Silver Anniversary Women’s Basketball Team.
