Daniel Stapff | Barry University | Men's Golf | 2008-2012

Stapff is one of the most decorated men’s golfers in Barry University history. He remains the only male athlete in league history to earn Sunshine State Conference Scholar-Athlete of the Year three times, and he is also a two-time NCAA Elite 89 Award winner.

On the course, Stapff was named SSC Golfer of the Year in 2011 after winning the conference tournament, one of four career victories. He posted a 72.95 career scoring average, with 57 rounds of par or better, 18 scores in the 60s, 362 birdies, and seven eagles—ranking among the best in program history. His career low of 65 came twice during his junior season. He was honored as a First-Team All-American by the Golf Coaches Association of America in both his junior and senior years.

After Barry, Stapff played professionally for four years, becoming Brazil’s top-ranked golfer in 2014. He captured six professional titles, highlighted by the 2016 Military World Championship in the Netherlands.
