Stephanie Quinones | Nova Southeastern University | Women's Soccer | 2005-2009
Quinones, a trailblazer for Nova Southeastern Women’s Soccer, becomes just the third former Shark inducted into the Sunshine State Conference Hall of Fame.
From 2005 to 2008, Quinones established herself as one of the program’s all-time greats. She became the first NSU Women’s Soccer player to earn All-American honors, earning the distinction in both 2006 and 2007. A consistent standout, she collected All-SSC accolades in each of her four seasons, highlighted by a First-Team selection in 2007 and three Second-Team nods.
Her excellence extended regionally as well, with NCAA South Region First-Team honors in 2006 and 2007, and multiple Second-Team selections, including Daktronics recognition.
Beyond the pitch, Quinones received the Arthur Ashe Jr. Scholar Award in 2007 for her commitment to academics, leadership, and community service.
On the field, she started all 59 matches of her career, recording 10 goals, 15 assists, and 35 points. Her leadership helped guide NSU to a 35-20-8 record and back-to-back NCAA Tournament appearances, cementing the Sharks’ rise on the national stage.
With her Hall of Fame induction, Stephanie Quinones legacy as a pioneer, leader, and champion will continue to inspire generations of Sharks.
