Dr. Ed Jeffries - Florida Southern College, Tennis Coach
Dr. Jeffries has been a member of the Mocs' coaching staff since 1966. He served as an assistant baseball and soccer coach early in his career, but is best known as head women's tennis coach where he has posted over 200 wins. He was named Division II national Coach of the Year in 1991. He was Florida Coach of the Year in 1983 and again in 1991, and was SSC Coach of the Year in 1985, 1986, 1990 and 1991. His tennis teams have captured 10 conference championships. He has been national chair of the Division II tennis subcommittee for six terms. The 1958 graduate of Bridgewater College, earned his master's degree at James Madison University and his doctorate from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.
