Bob Gibree - Saint Leo College, Baseball
The 1985 graduate is the only baseball catcher in the Hall of Fame through the 1995-96 Class. He was named Athlete of the Year at Saint Leo in 1984 and was chosen first team, All-SSC twice. He played college ball only three years before being drafted in the seventh round by the Seattle Mariners and played minor league ball for four years, reaching the AAA level before leaving the sport to enter the business world. The two-time All-American stands third in career home runs wtih 25, seventh in career batting average at .300, seventh in career hits at 141 and seventh in runs batted in at 106 at Saint Leo. Bob was the first alternate on the 1984 US Olympic baseball team.
