Chuck Anderson - Florida Southern College, Baseball Coach
The 1963 graduate of Florida Southern joined the Mocs as an assistant coach in 1964. He served as interim head coach in 1967 and was named the head coach in 1983. Anderson played first base and pitched for the Mocs from 1959 to 1963 and was twice named most valuable player. He has been involved in all eight national baseball championships the Mocs have won through 1996, five as an assistant and three as a head coach. He also coached the Mocs to a pair of second place finishes nationally. Anderson has been chosen national Coach of the Year three times, SSC Coach of the Year seven times and South Region Coach of the Year six times.
