(Volleyball) – The Tampa Spartans have won at least a share of the last nine Sunshine State Conference volleyball titles, including the last two SSC Championships outright with a combined 32-0 conference record. SAINT LEO, Fla. (Softball) – Former standout student-athlete Erin Kinberger has been tabbed as Saint Leo University's tenth softball coach, as announced by Director of Athletics Francis X. Reidy.  Kinberger most recently served as the head coach at Fort Hays State University in Hays, Kan., where she led the Tigers to a 107-51 record in her three years at the helm.

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. (Academic News) – On Wednesday, the NCAA Division II Conference Commissioner’s Association announced its CCA Regional Scholar-Athlete awards The Sunshine State Conference (SSC) swept the South Region awards with Florida Southern College’s Robbie Swan winning the men’s award and Lynn University’s Ellen Chambers taking the women’s honor. The SSC swept these awards for the second consecutive year.
