MELBOURNE, Fla. – All 13 Sunshine State Conference swim teams have earned spring All-American honors from the College Swimming Coaches Association of America. LAKELAND – Duncan Sherrard, who has served as Florida Southern's head swimming coach since the spring of 2009, and established the Moccasins as one of the nation's top NCAA Division II swimming programs, has accepted a position as assistant coach at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. He'll be joining a Tar Heels program that saw both the men's and women's teams finish in the top-20 of the NCAA Division I Championships, with the men doing so for the fourth time in the last six years, and the women doing it six of the last seven. INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - On Thursday, the NCAA announced the list of athletes that would be competing in the 2015 NCAA Division II Men’s and Women’s Swimming and Diving National Championships held at the IUPUI Natatorium in Indianapolis, Indiana March 11-14. A total of 60 Sunshine State Conference swimmers will compete at the national meet, which is 12 more than last years championships. Read the full story.
