ORLANDO, Fla. – Palm Beach Atlantic sophomore forward Kobi Thomas, the NCAA Division II leader in goals scored, is this week's featured guest on Sunshine State of Sports, the official podcast of the Sunshine State Conference (SSC).

Thomas has emerged as one of the nation's most dynamic offensive players during the 2026 season, leading NCAA Division II with 17 goals while helping Palm Beach Atlantic secure a berth in the SSC Men's Soccer Tournament.

The Coral Springs, Florida, native has delivered several memorable performances this fall, including a remarkable four-goal, two-assist outing against Florida Memorial. He also scored five goals across two matches against Tampa and nationally ranked Florida Southern, earning SSC Offensive Player of the Week honors for his efforts.

Thomas and the Sailfish now turn their attention to postseason play as Palm Beach Atlantic faces Florida Southern on Monday, November 2, in the opening round of the SSC Men's Soccer Tournament.

While Thomas has established himself as one of the nation's premier goal scorers, his aspirations extend well beyond the soccer field.

A Ministry Leadership major at Palm Beach Atlantic, Thomas has made his faith a central part of his college experience. He has started a Bible study with his teammates and hopes to eventually become a pastor.

Thomas also has ambitions of establishing a nonprofit organization that uses sports to positively impact communities and create opportunities for others.

During this week's episode of Sunshine State of Sports, Thomas discusses his journey to Palm Beach Atlantic, his breakout 2026 season, the role faith plays in his life and his goals beyond college athletics.

The conversation offers listeners an opportunity to learn more about the person behind the impressive statistics and how Thomas hopes to use his platform as a student-athlete to make a lasting difference.
