MBB Tournament Page] - The opening round of the 48th Sunshine State Conference Men's Basketball Championship will tip-off on Tuesday, March 4th. Member institutions will host all tournament games on campus sites and broadcast them on the
SSC Digital Network.
Nova Southeastern earns the No. 1 seed in the postseason tournament after winning a fifth regular season title, the fourth consecutive, following a 19-1 record in league play. Florida Southern (No. 2), Lynn (No. 3), and Embry-Riddle (No. 4) will also host a quarterfinal game in the 2025 championship. Tampa (No. 5), Palm Beach Atlantic (No. 6), Rollins (No. 7), and Barry (No. 8) round out this year's tournament field.
Following Tuesday's quarterfinal round, the tournament semifinals will be held on Thursday, March 6th, and the championship final will be played on Sunday, March 9th. The SSC champion will receive automatic qualification to the 2025 NCAA Division II Championships. Regional competition will take place at a non-predetermined site beginning on Friday, March 14th. Elite Eight play will occur from Tuesday, March 25th, to Saturday, March 29th, at the Ford Center in Evansville, Indiana. The NCAA will announce championship selections and seeding on Sunday, March 9th.
