MELBOURNE, Fla. - Four Sunshine State Conference baseball athletes have been named to 2019 All-American teams. Players from the SSC took home a combined total of eight accolades from the Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA), National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA), and the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA).
Eckerd College's Dillon McCollough and the University of Tampa's Yorvis Torrealba highlight the SSC's All-American selections in 2019. McCollough and Torrealba were both selected as All-Americans by all three organizations. Together they account for six of the SSC's eight total awards.
Also honored were Tampa's Keven Pimentel and Tyler Beck. Both pitchers were named All-American Honorable Mention by the NCBWA.
