INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The NCAA Division II Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving Committee announced today the swimmers who qualified for the 2018 NCAA Division II Men and Women's Swimming and Diving Championships. The championships will be held March 14 - 17 in Greensboro, North Carolina. A total of 57 Sunshine State Conference swimmers will compete at the national meet.
Of the student-athletes representing the SSC, 30 are male, and 27 are female. Forty relay teams also qualified for the 2018 championships.
Nova Southeastern leads the league with 17 (nine male / eight female) qualifying swimmers. Florida Southern is second with 15 (10 male / five female) swimmers who qualified to compete. Next is Tampa with 13 qualifiers (four male / nine female). Saint Leo had a total of six qualifiers (four male / two female). Florida Tech had a total of two male qualifiers and Lynn had two women qualifiers. Rollins will send a total of two swimmers one male and one female.
