“Congratulations to President Lennox, Fran Reidy and the entire Saint Leo Athletic Department and student-athlete community on an outstanding academic year,” stated SSC Commissioner Ed Pasque.

In the men’s division, points are awarded based on final regular-season conference standings in baseball, basketball, lacrosse, soccer, and tennis*. Points are awarded based on a team’s finish at their respective conference championship event for cross-country, golf, and swimming.

Saint Leo was the men’s leader following the Fall/Winter seasons with 23 points. The Lions finished first in the SSC regular season soccer and first at the cross-country championship. During the winter, SLU finished fourth in basketball and fifth at the swimming championship.

Saint Leo’s top finish in the spring came in men’s tennis where they won the program’s first SSC championship. A second place finish at the conference golf championship, third in lacrosse, and sixth in baseball helped the Lions earn a season total of 46.

Florida Southern College takes second place with 36 points. The Moccasins won the swim championship, finished third at cross country, seventh in soccer, and eighth in basketball. FSC earned third place points in baseball and golf, while earning fourth place points in tennis and lacrosse.
