Men’s Tournament Notes
Monday’s average score of 78.73 at Crandon Golf was just over a stroke better than Sunday’s average score of 79.98. The last time SSC teams posted a cumulative average over 78 in back-to-back SSC championship rounds was 2006 at Lake Jovita (Rounds 2 - 78.56 & 3 - 78.07).

Calmer winds and warmer temperatures made scoring more favorable on Monday. Golfers found the par-5 No. 10 and par-4 No. 11 the most challenging on Monday. Both holes played 0.80 shots over average and yielded nine scores worse than bogey. Hole No. 10 ranks as the most difficult of the tournament thus far. Players are averaging a 5.77 on the 556 yarder.

Despite No. 10, the Par-5’s have been crucial to good scoring in the 2016 tournament. No. 14 rates as the easiest hole on the golf course. No eagles were scored, but the field made 21 birdies on Monday. No. 18 & No. 1 continue to produce eagles, there were three today between the two holes.

Top-5 Watch: These golfers look to join an elite group of 30 golfers who have finished Top-5 at the SSC championship multiple times.

Women’s Round 2 Recap
The four-way tie from Round 1 is long gone and Rollins’ Annie Dulman (Sr., Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.) leads the way at 7-over. Dulman looks to fend off a pair of Lions and a couple Buccaneers to become the Tars’ seventh individual champion. Saint Leo’s Maria Coors (Jr., Gross-Zimmern, Germany) and Vilde Erikson (So., Fredrikstad, Norway) sit in second (+8) and third (+10), respectively.

Barry’s Tilda Larsson (Fr., Emmaboda, Sweden) and Maria Paola Fiorio (Sr., Torino, Italy) conclude Day 2 tied for fourth at 11-over. Krissy Ortiz (Fr., Guaynabo, Puerto Rico) of Lynn made the largest jump up the leaderboard after Round 2. Ortiz shot a 74 to rocket up 20 spots to a tie for 11th. The only superior score for a round this tournament is Dulman’s second round 73.

Individual Full Leaderboard - Day 2

The top three golfers for Rollins sit 1st, T8th, and T11th, while Saint Leo’s are 2nd, 3rd, and 7th. Nova Southeastern sits in fourth place (+60). Women’s Tournament Notes
Monday’s scoring average of 82.62 was just slightly better for the ladies than Sunday’s round of 82.80. The 2012 SSC championship continues to remind the conference of its brutal ways as it was the last time scores in back-to-back rounds were higher. The 2012 championship was held at the Concession in Bradenton, Florida.

Calmer winds and warmer temperatures made scoring a bit more favorable on Monday. However, hole No. 10 continued to plague golfers. For the second day in a row it played a stroke above par. The par-4 No. 11 was equally as difficult today, causing 32 of 45 golfers to shoot above par. By far the most of any hole on the course.

Top-5 Watch: These golfers look to join an elite group of 22 golfers who have finished Top-5 at the SSC championship multiple times. Two individual champions Marie Coors (SLU) and Nicole Ferre (BU) adorn the list that includes:
