SSC Celebrates 22nd Hall of Fame Class (Photo Album)
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Nine new members joined the ranks of the Sunshine State Conference Hall of Fame this week. The award ceremony took place on Saturday, March 5th on the campus of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.

Class of 2016 members are: Laurent Lamothe (Barry, tennis), Steve Balboni (Eckerd, baseball), Sarah Kohlbrenner (Florida Southern, softball), Declan Link (Rollins, soccer), Eric Beattie (Tampa, baseball), Bryan Cook (Nova Southeastern, baseball), Shaun Pendleton (Lynn, soccer), Fitzgerald "Fidgi" Haig (Florida Tech, soccer), and Dave Garcia (Saint Leo, baseball). Fidgi Haig and Shaun Pendleton were inducted posthumously.
The Sunshine State Conference Hall of Fame was founded in 1991 to honor those who brought distinction and excellence to the league. The SSC Hall of Fame now totals 196 honorees
