Saint Leo’s Chrissy Darwell and Malloree Enoch earned honorable mention.

A junior, Soesemann was one of the most prolific scorers in the conference.  She ranked second in the league with 42 points and 19 goals.  She tied for second with five game-winning goals and tied for 10th with four assists.  Soesemann also ranks among the top players in NCAA Division II in some statistical categories.  She ranks fifth with 2.63 points per game and third with 1.188 goals per game.

Thomas was the senior leader of a stingy Rollins defense that posted seven shutouts on the season.  The Tar defense led the SSC with 0.80 goals allowed per contest and a 0.75 goals against average.  Thomas and the Rollins defense surrendered more than one goal only three times in 18 matches.

Karp burst onto the scene in her debut season at Barry, leading the league with 48 points and 20 goals.  She ranked fourth with eight assists and four game-winning goals.  Karp’s scoring prowess also landed her among the Division II statistical leaders.  She ranks fourth in DII with 2.67 points per game and sixth with 1.111 goals per game.

Goodrich wins his first Coach of the Year distinction after leading Nova Southeastern to a share of its first ever SSC title.  His Sharks currently sport a 9-5-1 overall record and a 5-2-1 conference mark.  NSU lead the league with eight shutouts this season.  The squad also ranked fourth with 1.13 goals allowed per game and a 1.11 goals against average.
