TOURNAMENT SEEDING & SITES
Teams will be seeded for the tournaments based on points earned during the SSC regular-season schedule. For SSC tournament seeding, teams will receive 3 (three) points for each in-conference win, 1 (one) point for each in-conference tie and 0 (zero) points for each in-conference loss.
The women’s team and the men’s team accumulating the most points by the end of the season will be recognized as the SSC regular-season soccer champion and the #1 seeds for their respective tournaments.
Opening round matches will be played at the site of the highest seed. For both the men’s and women’s tournaments, the top six (6) teams will qualify for the tournaments, with the top two seeds each receiving a bye for the opening round.
Quarterfinal matches will be hosted bye the #3 and #4 seeded teams.
The semifinal and championship matches will be played at the site of the #1 seeded teams.
