LAKELAND, Fla. - University of Tampa finished first place at the 2015 SSC Women's Cross Country Championship hosted by Florida Southern College. The race was held at Holloway Park & Nature Preserve in Lakeland.
Tampa finished with 28 team points, edging out Saint Leo who finished with 39 team points. Tampa's top five runners finished No. 2, No. 5, No. 6, No. 7, and No. 8.
Colett Rampf of Saint Leo wins the SSC championship for the second consecutive year. Rampf finished with a time of 21:39.60. Chantell Blundell of Tampa finished second with a time of 22:17.10. Anabel Knoll of Nova Southeastern University took third with a time of 22:31.00. The top 10 individual runners were named to the 2015 SSC Cross Country Championship Team.
