Rollins' Lindsay Giblin and Florida Tech's Melissa Pyles have been chosen Sunshine State Conference Women's Soccer Players of the Week for the period ending September 1.

Giblin netted two goals in a 4-1 win over William Carey and then matched the tally in the 3-1 victory over Columbus State. |
 | DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK -- Florida Tech junior goalkeeper Melissa Pyles (Daytona Beach, Fla.) led the Panthers to a pair of regional victories, including a 3-0 shutout win over No. 16 Montevallo. In that match, Pyles stopped all three shots on goal that she faced. Playing 74 minutes of a 3-1 victory against Christian Brothers, Pyles faced three shots on goal and made two saves to secure a 3-1 win. In two matches, she posted a 0.55 goals against average. |
