Lions Pitch in to Clean Up Pasco County Park

Last Saturday, September 15, the Saint Leo women's basketball spent the morning assisting in cleaning up the embankment of the Withlacoochee River.

Assembling at the Withlacoochee River State Park in Dade City, Fla., the Lions spent four hours beautifying the river front of one Pasco County's most visited parks.

The team removed trash from the river bank, while assisting the local community in helping preserve the local wildlife sanctuaries.
