Lynn University’s men’s & women’s golf team teamed-up with the Boca Delray Country Club over the weekend for a joint fundraiser to benefit the Make-A-Wish ® Foundation.
This marks the fourth consecutive year the Fighting Knights have partnered with the Boca Delray Country Club, and this year, the group raised $1,595 for charity.
“It was a great day with perfect weather and wonderful people,” said head men’s golf coach Chris Greenwood. “We greatly appreciate the members of Boca Delray and their professional staff for helping us raise money for such a worthy cause.”
Since 1980, the Make-A-Wish Foundation® has enriched the lives of children with life-threatening medical conditions through its wish-granting work. The Foundation's mission reflects the life-changing impact that a Make-A-Wish® experience has on children, families, referral sources, donors, sponsors and entire communities.
